Bio Robot Refrigerator

Have you ever imagine that refrigerators in the future looks like the above picture?? One that store food in gross-looking gel?
This great design is created by Russian designer Yuriy Dmitriev takes on the future of humble refrigerator. It is four times smaller than a conventional refrigerator. Anyway, the interesting one is that, the Bio Robot uses zero-energy concept and relies on a biopolymer gel that use luminescence to preserve food items. Dmitriev’s Bio Robot Refrigerator utilizes a special gel-like substance that suspends and cools food once inserted. Rather than shelves, the non sticky, odourless gel morphs around products to create a separate pod that suspends items for easy access. The design features has no doors or drawers. At the same time, all food, drink and cooled products are individually cooled at their optimal temperature by bio robots. The fridge is adaptable, that is, it can be hung vertically, horizontally, and even on the ceiling. Different sizes and dimensions allow it to perfectly fit the accordant dwelling.

You just simply plunge your food items into the non-sticky odorless gel and it will create a separate capsule for every item.
