Resource monitor

            Resource monitor is a application which comes with windows which many of us are not aware about you can use it to monitor CPU, Disk, memory and network processes. You can open it by going to start, all programs, accessories, resource monitor or by typing resmon.exe in run

Overview tab

              The overview tab shows details about CPU, Disk, Memory, network it shows the main details

On the right side the computer automatically generates graphs for the CPU, memory, network, disk usage




CPU tab

           In the CPU tab we can find all the processes and services running in the computer and their CPU usage. if your computer is running too slow you can end the process which are unnessary


           on the right side you can see graphs representing the overall CPU usage, service CPU usage and the usage of each CPU like CPU 0,1 etc as now most of us have more then one CPU in our computer

Memory Tab

          the memory tab shows the RAM usage the amount of RAM your system uses it also shows the detailed view of the amount of ram used by each process if you want to run some memory consuming applications like games or if your ram is full you may end the processes that consume lot of ram at the bottom it shows a bar that shows how your ram has been split

Note tat if your ram usage goes to 100% then your system may show a blue color screen with a error and restart

Disk Tab

            The disk tab shows the details about hard disk usage the amount of data read and the amount of data written to the hard drive

Network Tab

             The network tab displays the amount of data sent and received by each processes so if your internet is very slow you can check which process is consuming more bandwidth and you may end the particular process
